Recreational Activities for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Finding appropriate recreational activities for a child afflicted with a birth injury such as cerebral palsy or Erb’s palsy is one of the most important aspects of that child’s development. Participating in a recreational activity such as a sports league or summer camp provides a tremendous physical and emotional boost to a child’s well being and ability to socialize and interact with others. Additionally, social recreational activities can allow parents and caretakers the opportunity to socialize with other like-minded adults, providing a valuable resource to them as well.

Click on the links below to learn more about the different recreational activities available to children with disabilities and where they are offered in your area.
